About the Journal

RHP is an open access academica journal, has an biannual frequency and publishes only original articles coming from various disciplinary specialties: history, law, architecture, sociology, anthropology, among others. The publication of articles is subject to external peer review process. Articles already published or under review in other journals are not accepted. It is addressed to the academic public as well as professionals of penal institutions and the general public interested in the subject. Its aim is to become a multidisciplinary contribution to the history of confinement institutions.
